Railways launch IT enabled passenger services for convenience of passengers


Railways has launched IT enabled passenger services for the convenience of passengers. These include paperless unreserved ticketing through mobile phones on suburban stations of Central Railway and paperless platform tickets at select stations of Northern, Western and Central Railways.

The other application relates to paperless monthly season ticket on suburban sections of Western Railway, Central Railway and New Delhi-Palwal section of Northern Railway.
